California Science Center Installation at Ontario International Airport

At Ontario International Airport (ONT), a new kind of traveler experience has arrived. FUSE partnered with California Science Center to design and install a fully immersive ocean environment inside the terminal - an exhibit that blends projection, sound, and motion to transport travelers thousands of miles from the Inland Empire to the open sea.

Airports are some of the most stressful environments in modern life. This installation provides an opportunity to subvert that - to take a transitional space and turn it into a destination in itself. For the millions of travelers who pass through ONT each year, the installation offers an unexpected pause: a place to sit, breathe, and disappear into something larger than the terminal around them.

“We see this opportunity to give our travellers and customers something that they are not going to get anywhere else.” - Steve Lambert, ONT Airport Spokesperson
