Neutrogena Extends Its Coachella Suncare Sponsorship to Palm Springs International Airport
For the fourth year running, Neutrogena showed up at Coachella as the official suncare sponsor. This year, it started at the airport.
Neutrogena returned to Coachella 2026 for its fourth consecutive year as the festival's official suncare sponsor, and this time the activation started before anyone reached the grounds. At Palm Springs International Airport, arriving festivalgoers were met with an on-site sampling experience and a dedicated booth distributing Neutrogena's newly launched Ultra Sheer Invisible Gel SPF 40, putting the product directly into the hands of an audience about to spend a weekend in the desert sun.
The airport activation was the first step in a campaign designed to close what the brand called the SPF reapplication gap, meeting festivalgoers at every stage of their journey from PSP all the way through the festival grounds, campgrounds, and off-site hotspots. Across both weekends, Neutrogena distributed 145,000 samples of its Ultra Sheer Invisible Gel SPF 40 and over 250 gallons of Beach Defense SPF 70.
Starting at the airport wasn't just a logistical choice. It was a strategic one. PSP is where the Coachella audience is most reachable, most relaxed, and most receptive, before the festival noise takes over. For a brand built on sun protection, arriving at the same moment as the people heading into the heat makes every bit of sense.
