Luxury in the Terminal
Ontario International Airport Announces Major Advertising Partnership with Walters Automotive Group, Home of Porsche and Audi Ontario
Two of the world's most iconic automotive brands are now part of the ONT experience, marking the first major partnership under the airport's new in-house advertising agency.
Porsche Ontario's takeover of ONT's baggage claim carousel turns one of the airport's highest-dwell moments into a premium brand experience, greeting arriving travelers with a full lineup of performance vehicles before they've even collected their bags.
Ontario International Airport has announced a 12-month advertising and sponsorship agreement with Walters Automotive Group, the exclusive dealers for Porsche and Audi in the City of Ontario. The partnership is the first of its kind under OIAA's newly launched in-house advertising agency, and it sets a clear tone for what the program is building toward.
The agreement goes well beyond digital and static displays. Porsche and Audi vehicles will be placed inside the terminals, with special events for VIP clients and a series of customer experience activations planned throughout the partnership. For travelers passing through one of the fastest-growing airports in the country, it's a different kind of arrival.
The Sports Car Together Fest at ONT's hangar brought Porsche enthusiasts and their cars together on the airfield, turning the airport into an event destination and showcasing exactly the kind of VIP experience the Walters Automotive Group partnership was built to deliver.
For Walters Automotive Group, ONT offers something that a traditional advertising buy can't: direct, repeated access to a regional audience that is growing in both size and purchasing power. The Inland Empire is expanding, the airport is expanding with it, and the brands that recognized that early are already inside the terminal.
“We're especially pleased to partner with the Walters Automotive Group, a great Ontario-based business, as we launch this exciting new opportunity for companies to market themselves at the fastest-growing airport in the U.S.”
Alan D. Wapner, President, OIAA Board of Commissioners
